From Plovdiv’s cobblestone streets to the wild peaks of Pirin — I’m on a mission to show the Bulgaria that most people never find.
I grew up in Plovdiv and fell in love with a country I realized most people — even Bulgarians — had never really explored.
Bulgaria has ancient Thracian ruins, UNESCO-listed medieval towns, pristine mountain trails, Black Sea beaches and some of the best spa retreats in Europe — all packed into a country smaller than most people expect. The problem is that most travel content about Bulgaria barely scratches the surface. I started LikeBulgaria to fix that.
